I love the Mikasa swirl pattern, I have several pieces of serveware. This piece is nice but it is cream colored not white. In addition, it has a matte finish, not smoothshiny like the other pieces I have. Please see photo - the piece on the right is subject piece and the one on the left is a piece from my collection. The tablecloth has a white background (it was also purchased at Wayfair and I love it).

The Mikasa bowl is a very nice bowl. However, it was too small for what I needed. I wanted a divided vegetable serving bowl. This is more for nuts or candy.

It’s a good size for serving two veggies.
