Additional Features

• Michael is highly inspired by his surroundings and often makes sculptures of objects that might otherwise be overlooked in the everyday. Nature is his biggest muse, as is the handmade process.
• Michael Aram's fine porcelain was designed to reflect the way we entertain today - incorporating comfort and ease without sacrificing grace and detail. It's about the casualization of formal and the formalization of casual. Constructed of porcelain, our dinnerware is sturdy enough for everyday use.
• Each piece is shaped and molded along rigorous accuracy standards. The porcelain is fired at 1400ºC, resulting in a white, shiny, resistant surface.
• Hallmarks of the handmade process, each piece is a love story of luxury and quality.
• Each Michael Aram metal object undergoes a series of grinding, buffing, and polishing techniques. Variations or 'imperfections' in the product's finish are characteristic of the creation process. Due to this handmade nature, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
