Had one used at a fine restaurant and went home on the hunt for one. I have larger carafes that are nice, but this one does the job in a lower profile way. Good quality and am very pleased with it!

This is the perfect size and weight, very easy to pour.

We saw a similar decanter at a restaurant, and wanted one! Not as heavy as the usual decanters. I was disappointed to see "made in China" at the bottom when it appeared to be made in Italy (guess I didn't read the fine print). Although still a nice purchase; I chipped the lip when washing it the first time (it can go in the dishwasher). Amazon has the same thing for a few dollars less. Overall, a very nice purchase.

Perfect size for my gatherings.. Very elegant, but sturdy enough to not be worried when my mother picks up after 3 glasses of !
