These are not bone china, they are regular porcelain. The first image is the bowl we got at our wedding, and the second is from the new settings we ordered. On top of that, all but one set destroyed itself in shipping because the boxes they are packaged in are not meant for shipping individually.

Love these dishes however a bowl was shattered and a replacement was received and then the plate was shattered. As a suggestion need to place padding between dishes.
