Well made decanter right size and easy to clean

Love this decanter from Iittala. The design makes it easy to pour from the bottle into the decanter without risk of spilling, and can be displayed on the table while waiting for the wine to settle. Glass is very thick and durable - you can't break this unless you drop it - no clips or clinking will cause it to chip or crack. If you buy big wines that benefit from oxygenation, or drink vintage port or madeira that needs to be decanted, this is your piece. Pros: Stylish, durable, ergonomically friendly despite appearance, pours very truly and can pour into it easily without spilling. Cons: Difficult to clean if not rinsed immediately after emptying. Caution must be taken when washing by hand.
