Beautiful plates. High quality. Better price than at my local kitchen supply store. Love them combined with the rice bowls and big plates.

The images made it seem like gold on the rim but it Is actually brown.

As others have mentioned, the rim is dark brown, definitely not gold as it appears in pictures. So far, doing great in microwave and dishwasher, and they stack in a pretty compact way which is good for our small kitchen.
