The lion serving bowl by fort Tessa is in fact, six small bowls that would be good for soup or salad, but not as stated good for using as a terrain on a buffet. I have included a Crayola marker to give you an indication of the actual size. I could even see perhaps doing a French onion soup in these but the product description says not to use in the oven so I guess that’s not an option. 

The bowl is stark white color which I love. The lions head on each side make it really stand out. My issue with this bowl is it’s a lot smaller than i thought l. For a serving bowl, it should be bigger. It’s great as a singer serve soup bowl. I also which it came with the lid.

These are lovely soup bowls but imagine my surprise when I thought I was getting one large serving bowl with a lid but received 6 small soup or salad bowls without lids. They would be great for individual Mac and Cheese but I don’t know if the bowls are oven proof.

Like the other reviewer, I thought I was getting a serving bowl, but instead got 6 individual bowls with lion heads. They are not oven-safe, but it says they are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. The description is not true as it says you are getting 1 bowl and it is not the serving bowl pictures.. Also the picture shows a lid, you don't get a lid either. Very disappointed.

I read and read all the descriptions several times. It arrived with 6 bowls! Yes, the 14oz capacity is correct. They are very small. Actually don't know where you would find the lids and probably don't even need them. I thought there might be a mistake on the oz capacity because it only lists one with it being 12 pounds, so surprise...you get 6! The lion might even be confused with a bear, very hard to tell. You can stack a few but I would not go too high. I have decided to use some of these for some faux plants as a planter because I wasn't expecting so many. I think they are well glazed and look nice, but was really wishing it was one and much larger.
