such a easy to use carafe and fits perfectly in the door of the fridge. Make sure to clean the lid properly (under the metal plate) if you pour juice with pulp in it!

This carafe has been Big hit at dinner parties. The flask is beautiful and the lid keeps the ice from splashing out. Delighted!

Lid described as "flip-top" does not flip, close or seal. I wrote to Bromus customer service and they replied that some terms may not be accurate due to translation from German to English and offered no form for recompense for the incorrect description. Unfortunately return shipping cost is about 50% of the purchase price so wouldn't get much of a refund. The glass vessel is very pretty so I guess I'll just use it as a vase since it's too costly to return.

love how stylish this cafe is! and the dimensions are great, so that it does not take up a lot of space in the fridge. great functionality too, as there is zero drip when you pour. perfect for my brewed iced tea! the only downside is the price. ideally, this would only cost $25 max. i bought my first one abt 2y ago for abt $32 (including tax). now having to replace it, as it just broke today. price is now abt $43. WAY too expensive for a cafe. the other downside, which i discovered today, is how fragile the glass is. it was drying in my counter dish rack, which i bumped, and the cafe fell onto my counter (butcher block) and shattered. for such a high price, i expect it NOT to break so easily. if the price goes any higher, i'll have to look for an alternative if i have to replace again.

Only good for water. Other drinks will be exposed to air and spoil. Nice carafe for water and teas though.
