The Anemone collection is inspired by anemone flowers, which in some cultures are said to bring good luck and offer protection. The flowers are associated with purity and peace. For me, there is beauty and gracefulness inherent in anemones. The curving stems and vibrant blooms are feminine and deeply alluring.

Inspired by walking barefoot on the beaches and golden dunes of Truro, Cape Cod, Michael created the Truro collection, capturing the timeless shifting of ocean, wind and sand. This new Truro porcelain collection is a reinvention of one of his earliest designs.

Everything becomes gold: Midas. The playful, baroque Rosenthal shape Sanssouci forms the stage for the Midas decor, which is monochromatic in gold. Patterns with distinctive twigs and leaves are laid on top of each other in layers, shimmering between matt and glossy surfaces and creating an extremely sensual interplay when they meet the porcelain relief. The three-dimensional camouflage décor is named after the mythological king Midas, whom Dionysus had fulfilled a wish: Everything he touched turned to gold.
