Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and educated at the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband and three children. While her artistic impression was constant throughout her life, her recent foray into the art world was developed over the past 15 years working as a volunteer art teacher for school children at the elementary level. During this time she also worked as the prop, costume, and backdrop designer for the elementary school’s performances and directed the art and talent shows for many years. Now coming full circle, Ann is once again involved in instructing new and aspiring artists on her painting methods. In her commitment to being a green artist, Ann is able to create unique paintings by using recycled materials, finding items of interest in her environment, and using every drop of paint to add dimension to her paintings.

Emma Brooks was born in Brooklyn, New York to a liberal family that encouraged her artistic abilities from a young age. Growing up in the busy city life, Emma became inspired by the various cultures and lifestyles she encountered in the city. With a broad interest in design and modern art, Emma was accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island. In her studies in Providence, she was able to admire a slower lifestyle than the hustle and bustle of life in New York. This is a print. A copied print, stapled to a wood frame. The border says "wayfair..." in white. I ordered knife gel. There are no raised areas where the color/ paint was applied. The PRINT is exactly the same as the picture, with the difference being; in person, there is very little green/blue coloring in the background, it is grey, its a muted grey green. Oddly enough the pink in the flamingos is VERY pink, not muted. I purchased both Tropical Plumage 1 & 2, these are very pricey prints, shocked at the misrepresentation by this site.
