Shipping took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait! This mirror is so stunning. It is wide and tall and really fills up a space. I was not expecting that. It has a really pretty bubbled frame in gold and it’s very well-made. There are two brackets on the back where you can anchor the mirror onto the wall if you choose to do so, and it came with all of the anchoring tools you need. I have this corner in my dining room that kind of was sitting there empty and I didn’t know what I wanted to do with it and I imagined a mirror and some kind of greenery would probably be really nice it would brighten up the room, make it a little bigger, and my granddaughter would be able to look at herself and dance in front of it. I ordered two of these mirrors. I am outraged by the fact that the hooks for hanging them are not leveled. And this is on both!!! I was able address the issue on the second one o hung by simply putting the screws in the wall at 2 different heights, but now I have to find a way to adjust the screws for the one I hung first, as I only realized there was this issue after drilling the holes in the wall (took me about 4 hours to realize what the issue was). I’m so disappointed. Another thing that was really annoying is that they changed the delivery date on me after I bought the item because, according to the note they sent me, the item was too delicate for their standard delivery methods so the “upgraded” my delivery method “free of charge” (oh, thank you!) adding about 10 days to the delivery schedule. How do you realize something like that out of the blue, after the order is placed I didn’t raise a complaint when this happened, but now that I’ve gone through what I had to go through because of the poor manufacturing of the item, I can’t just keep all the frustration to myself. The beautiful Cecilia Mirror grandly ornaments a space with its hand-applied mix of shells affixed artfully to its frame. These form flourishes to make the decorative shell mirror seem as if it's sprouting oceanic movement. The Cecilia comes with a cleat for hanging vertically.

This mirror is absolutely breathtaking and actually looks better in person vs. online photos. I can’t imagine the time it took to painstakingly place the thousands of shells that cover the elaborate frame. It arrived in heavy Fort-Knox-like packaging to protect it and takes 2 people to unpack. I was amazed that there were only 2 lonely little shells that had come loose and is totally undetectable. The cleat hanger that’s attached is extremely strong but unfortunately the wall hanger part was missing. Perigold offered to replace it but it would take so long and I was able to purchase a set at my local hardware store. I had a handyman hang it, but I did help him to lift it because of its awkward shape and weight. I love it in my kitchen nook but it would be suitable for any room in my home.
