Artist Commentary: I had to get into the heart of San Francisco after a weekend in Tahoe and the freeway was packed. I plugged the address into Waze and went so far off the beaten path I thought I would end up in another state. I decided to enjoy the ride and came upon a beautiful piece of land with an old horse stall and fields of gold. I pulled over, snapped off a few photos and took the backroads to San Francisco.
