Simon Caldwell was born in Norfolk, England, in 1970. He completed his degree in Fine Art/Museum Studies in 1992. A professional artist since 1999, he takes inspiration from the weathered walls of European cities, abstract expressionists, graphic design, and aerial photography, among many other things. He enjoys ornithology, aviation, English football, sketching outdoors, playing guitar (rather simply), and spending time with his family.

Since 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Hollywood, California, and Park City, Utah. Barclay Butera's inspirations are drawn from a diverse variety of grand architecture from coast to coast, European and Far Eastern influences, including everything from the high-fashion runways to his far-flung world travels. But, he readily credits Old Hollywood and West Palm Beach as among his greatest muses.

I was so excited about this but it arrived and looks totally different in person. I expected a watercolor canvas but it has a shiny finish on it that makes it look cheap and not at all made to order. Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn. Where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as we say in Italian "graffito". Austin was influenced by many different artists particularly Fernando Carlo. Fernando was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. Austin graduated from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s. Austin now travels all over America to look for inspirations whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Austin loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

Jordan Thurston is a native of Garden City, NY where he began his lifelong love of the creative arts in afterschool programs. Mostly self-taught, he continued drawing and painting throughout his formative years at New York University where he studied applied mathematics. Inspired by the complexity of the world in its simplex forms, he draws on the shapes and forms found in nature for inspiration. Jordan currently lives in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY where he continues to paint and evolve as an artist.

Beverly Fuller was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles. As a young girl, she was fascinated with the vast diversity of the world around her. She conveyed that fascination with art and was praised by her teachers as a talented artist. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College and a Master of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles. After completing her education, Beverly Fuller spent the next year traveling all across the United States, soaking up inspiration that launched her into a creative journey of becoming a painter. Currently, she resides in Northern California with her husband and two daughters. Every other month, Beverly travels back down to her hometown of Los Angeles to immerse herself in the artistic community and to find her next muse.

Artist Commentary: "Sea Change" means a profound and notable transformation and if 2020 wasn't that, I don't know what was. I was traveling across the United States in our RV, painting the beautiful landscapes along the way. It was stunning and I had created a file of photos I wanted to paint, more than I knew I ever would find the time to actually get on a canvas. Right as I was beginning to paint some birch trees and put my vine charcoal to paper to lay down the big shapes, I had a real yearning for the ocean. So in this beautiful but landlocked area of America. I started drawing from my minds' eye and what emerged was "Sea Change."

Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil, which she describes as “back-to-basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

Artist Commentary: I love rocks! I was actually a geology major for a nanosecond until I realized that geology wasn't my calling. I still love to study rocks and some of my favorite treasures are the rocks I've collected throughout my lifetime. Currently, I'm enjoying painting the rocky shorelines that I frequent often in California and Massachusetts.

I would never order from Perigold again. I didn’t realize that this was a nonreturnabke item. The item was, in my opinion, not as advertised.
