A fun vintage photograph depicts women sitting in a circle creating a fun pattern with their legs.
The print is lovely, but unfortunately, the frame arrived damaged on the left side. Perigold customer service is wonderful and they immediately sent out a new print. We received the second one quickly, but the same damage was on the replacement frame—in exactly the same place—left side gauges in the frame! It appears that the frames may be stored in a way that the left sides are compromised. We have kept the replacement piece…love it!. Maureen. Huntington Beach, CA. Sun Nov 20 2022

This exquisite photograph captures the epitome of 1970s alpine sophistication, featuring Mrs Alfredo Cernadas reclining on a balcony in Gstaad during the height of the Swiss resort's golden age as the premier destination for the international jet set. Set against the majestic backdrop of the Swiss Alps, this intimate portrait embodies the refined leisure that defined Gstaad's reputation as "The Place," as Time magazine named it in the 1960s. By 1977, Gstaad had firmly established itself as the winter hangout for the international jet-set, where elegant socialites would retreat to luxurious chalets and exclusive private clubs like the Eagle Ski Club, which opened in 1957 and was funded by Charles Greville, 7th Earl of Warwick. Mrs. Cernadas, captured in a moment of serene contemplation, represents the cosmopolitan elite who transformed this Alpine village into a symbol of understated luxury and continental glamour, where the art of après-ski became as important as the skiing itself. Slim Aarons, renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places," was the quintessential chronicler of high society. After serving as a war photographer, Aarons turned his lens to a new landscape: the glamorous lives of Hollywood elites, Palm Beach socialites, and jet-setting debutantes and princes. Also notable is that all our acrylic art piece’s edges are hand diamond polished to capture the surrounding light. The diamond-pearl aluminum creates a stunning shimmer with a satin seen enhancing the reflective properties of the image. The Artist, David Keochkerian, lives in Somme, France. He has a Ph.D. in human physiology and works in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation. He’s been practicing photography for 5 years now, although he fell into the cauldron when he was a child: his father is now a retired photographer. He grew up with the smell of chemicals and the shutter snap and purr of his roller transport print processor. “I like to capture the fleeting, the subtle, the beautiful, the rare, the spectacular, the staggering… to reveal how the daily and the ordinary can be filled with enthusiasm.” His work is very heterogeneous. He uses and associates many photographic techniques (DRI, HDR, panoramic, Vertorama, long exposure), image renditions (color, B&W, infrared), and different themes (landscape, macro, light-painting, architecture, industry).
