Artist Janice Sadler particularly likes working in watercolors, because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash and flow into each other and new colors evolve from it." Janice's "Walking on a Stage" series is ideally suited to depicting soft, elegant dancers.
My piece just arrived, while it is a beautiful painting, i have to say it is ruined by the very, very high glass epoxy that was put on top of the painting. While this might afford protection, most art in floating frames do not have this. and it is not visible in the photos. They should have used either nothing or a non glare option. Because it causes great glare off the picture, taking away from the beautiful piece and making it look like a cheap poster. Not what I expected for this price. Its too bad, aside from that it is beautiful, but beware. Its a shame the pictures do not accurately depic what this epoxy actual does to this picture. Sheila. Dover, NH. Thu Apr 08 2021

A fun vintage photograph depicts women sitting in a circle creating a fun pattern with their legs.
The print is lovely, but unfortunately, the frame arrived damaged on the left side. Perigold customer service is wonderful and they immediately sent out a new print. We received the second one quickly, but the same damage was on the replacement frame—in exactly the same place—left side gauges in the frame! It appears that the frames may be stored in a way that the left sides are compromised. We have kept the replacement piece…love it!. Maureen. Huntington Beach, CA. Sun Nov 20 2022

Lunch Time Splash 1 is a diminutive yet powerful work of art that captivates the imagination with its dreamlike quality. This print seems to fuse photography and painting, blending the surreal with reality in a boundless underwater scene. The central figure, adorned in a long, formal gown, echoes the fluidity of the water, creating an entrancing ballet-like motion that transcends the frame. The subtle tonal grayscale, featuring hues of graphite, charcoal, and seafoam green enhances the timeless atmosphere of the piece. The texture is brought forward through diverse brushstrokes and intricate patterns that emulate the water's refractive quality. This very accomplished and intimate work embraces the boundary between the real and the imagined. Passionate imagery and a subdued color palette create a compelling call to reflection in this work of art on textured paper. An original addition to the exclusive collection and a beautiful companion piece to Lunch Time Splash 2.

Chris Dunker has photographed industrial culture for over two decades. His father introduced photography to Chris at an early age. Chris attended Al Weber Workshops and classes at the community college where Chris’s father taught photography. Dunker earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Art and Design with a photography concentration and a minor in Philosophy from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In 1995 he completed a Masters of Fine Arts in photography from Utah State University. Chris grew up in China Lake, California which is in the isolated and remote high desert east of the Sierras. This austere and harsh environment is punctuated with mining outposts, rock art, and industrial-military structures, all influences of Dunker’s formative years. A strong interest in industrial music and performance groups like Survival Research Laboratories expanded his understanding of how industrial dynamics could be integrated into art forms and how an aesthetic could be derived from objects of utility. As an Assistant Professor of Photography at Utah State University, Dunker taught History of Photography and many other classes. Research in this field broadened his awareness of how photographers consider the role of industrial culture in relation to the human condition.
