Born and raised in Korea, Guseul Park studied ceramics in college, yet she was always drawn to painting and drawing as a self-taught artist. “Art is meditation for me," she shares. "Through creation, I explore the deepest parts of myself and examine my state of mind. It has always brought me to a state of pure joy—a place where I can truly be myself.” Her favorite medium is the pencil, which she describes as "back-to-basics art." Drawing inspiration from daily strolls and her travels, Guseul also enjoys reading and embroidery when she is away from her studio.
