This is one of the more low resolution images I've ever gotten and yet nowhere does it say it's close it a painting everywhere so no it was not a painting and it was very expensive for what looked like a postcard blown up to about a foot.. Looks cheap (especially compared with the price tag) in person and unfortunately is not returnable. The image brush gel was too light to be noticeable or make the painting look worth the price.
