Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. Artist Commentary: I’m mesmerized by waves of all shapes and sizes. Whether walking along the shoreline or just sitting at the ocean’s edge and watching them, waves continue to amaze and fascinate me. Capturing my interpretation of them on my canvas is definitely one of my favorite things to do.
