Geometric Peach Fabric By The Yard

Mary McDonald was inspired by a painter's palette when she created this unique high-performance print that resists stains, moisture, mildew, and fading. Normally I find colors to be true to image, but this time the fabric looked quite different in real life. The blue is brighter than expected (not a gray blue as I see it in the picture). And, the circles are bright yellow, standing out more than they appeared in the image. I was hoping for a little more subtle, so I am returning. Not sure I am the best judge of fabric quality. Birdseye is the traditional name for a two-color woven pattern that consists of a small diamond shape with a center dot. By its very name, this razor-edge stripe is textured and distinct and reflects a structural grandeur. Dazzle is a play on Giles`s Aperigon design. Cut on the bias the design takes a new direction in this fabric and informs the stripe overall. Inspired by a jacket created for one of Giles Deacon`s runway collections each colorway plays on the tones and shades of the core color in an ombre effect revealing something altogether more daring.

With a mid-century vibe, this geometric fabric design echoes the shapes found in the Atelier collection with space-dyed yarns drawing out highlight colors and providing a contrast against the design's natural background.
