The combination of harsh lines and solid rectangular shapes with the floor to ceiling glass atrium and metal facade is so…well, so damn cool. Buildings like this just beg to be photographed! Artist Commentary: I was inspired by the view at the top of the hill on Monhegan Island. These buildings are near the lighthouse. I walked up the hill pre-dawn so I could see the first rays of light glow on the buildings. A storm was soon to follow so the adage, "red sky in the morning, sailors take warning", proved to be true.
