I don't understand the finish. I have never seen a wrapped canvas piece of art with a what might appear as a shiny, protective film on it. Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn, where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as we say in Italian, "graffito." He was influenced by many different artists, particularly Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil which she describes as “back to basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing and embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

This is a replacement for the first one I ordered that had un-square miters on the frame. Very distracting. This frame is square but framing and wood is just ok.
