Taking its name from the mud-resist printing technique, the Hindi word 'to press,' Zoffany's Dabu Stripe features a twisting stripe and delicate floral sprigs set against a subtle polka dot background. This design is drawn from a Zoffany archive document, originally taken from an indigo resist.
