Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn. Where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian "graffito". Austin was influenced by many different artists particularly Fernando Carlo. Fernando was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. Austin graduated from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s. Austin now travels all over America to look for inspirations whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Austin loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

As the deva of intellect and wisdom, Ganesha is one of the most well known deities in the Hindu pantheon. While he is known for many things, Ganesha’s elephant head is by far his most distinctive feature. The Ganesha Head Lava Relief is a dimensional sculpture crafted from ceramic and finished in lava stone, then placed within a wooden frame. The iconic elephant head is on full display surrounded amongst horizontal etchings that contain small hints of silver leaf. The light tone of the wood contrasts with the darker hue of the sculpture, creating a light interplay within the peace that stirs intrigue and instills a sense of tranquility.
