Simon Caldwell was born in Norfolk, England, in 1970. He completed his degree in Fine Art/Museum Studies in 1992. A professional artist since 1999, he takes inspiration from the weathered walls of European cities, abstract expressionists, graphic design, and aerial photography, among many other things. He enjoys ornithology, aviation, English football, sketching outdoors, playing guitar (rather simply), and spending time with his family.

Peyton Gray was born in Fresno, CA to a family of artists. Growing up in a creative household, Peyton was always encouraged to try her hand in all different mediums and became inspired to bring happiness to the world with her work. With her background in mixed media art, she was accepted to the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. Once she graduated, she pursued her dream of becoming a full-time artist. Peyton currently resides in Oceanside, CA with her husband and two cats, Ross and Snowball.

I was so excited about this but it arrived and looks totally different in person. I expected a watercolor canvas but it has a shiny finish on it that makes it look cheap and not at all made to order. Beverly Fuller was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles. As a young girl, she was fascinated with the vast diversity of the world around her. She conveyed that fascination with art and was praised by her teachers as a talented artist. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree from Whittier College and a Master of Arts from California State University, Los Angeles. After completing her education, Beverly Fuller spent the next year traveling all across the United States, soaking up inspiration that launched her into a creative journey of becoming a painter. Currently, she resides in Northern California with her husband and two daughters. Every other month, Beverly travels back down to her hometown of Los Angeles to immerse herself in the artistic community and to find her next muse.

Jordan Thurston is a native of Garden City, NY where he began his lifelong love of the creative arts in afterschool programs. Mostly self-taught, he continued drawing and painting throughout his formative years at New York University where he studied applied mathematics. Inspired by the complexity of the world in its simplex forms, he draws on the shapes and forms found in nature for inspiration. Jordan currently lives in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY where he continues to paint and evolve as an artist.

I would never order from Perigold again. I didn’t realize that this was a nonreturnabke item. The item was, in my opinion, not as advertised. Artist Commentary: **This painting is part of a six piece series of 12x24 ocean waves and won the "People's Choice" award among the six paintings I painted for Maine Art Hill Gallery's "Choice Art Show 2020 Exhibition" in Kennebunk, Maine.** I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be spending my winters in Southern California and escaping the snow and cold of New England. Daily strolls on the beach are reinvigorating me and even though it’s warmer here than in Boston, I took creative license with this painting and punched up the water with colors of the Caribbean.

Artist Commentary: "Sea Change" means a profound and notable transformation and if 2020 wasn't that, I don't know what was. I was traveling across the United States in our RV, painting the beautiful landscapes along the way. It was stunning and I had created a file of photos I wanted to paint, more than I knew I ever would find the time to actually get on a canvas. Right as I was beginning to paint some birch trees and put my vine charcoal to paper to lay down the big shapes, I had a real yearning for the ocean. So in this beautiful but landlocked area of America. I started drawing from my minds' eye and what emerged was "Sea Change."

Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn. Where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as we say in Italian "graffito". Austin was influenced by many different artists particularly Fernando Carlo. Fernando was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. Austin graduated from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s. Austin now travels all over America to look for inspirations whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Austin loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in 1998, Blakely Bering put her studies in costume and set design to direct use by working in opera design and television production around the United States, before returning to her home of Texas. Transitioning from large scale design to fine art was seamless and natural for her. Painting figurative abstractions and “Blooms” at first, Blakely’s art evolved into pure abstraction. Experimenting with techniques, mediums, and styles; the “Oil slick” developed in 2006, recognized as Blakely’s classic style. Reflecting on her theatrical sense, the artwork is powerful from thirty feet away. Inspired by her love of cooking, Blakely combines oils, powdered pigments, crushed metals, and secret ingredients, from scratch, to create her own paint mixtures. Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil, which she describes as “back-to-basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

Artist Commentary: I love rocks! I was actually a geology major for a nanosecond until I realized that geology wasn't my calling. I still love to study rocks and some of my favorite treasures are the rocks I've collected throughout my lifetime. Currently, I'm enjoying painting the rocky shorelines that I frequent often in California and Massachusetts.

Artist Commentary: I find water particularly beautiful and intriguing because of the contrast of its strength and softness. It has the power to reshape stones and yet can run through your fingers. The water in this painting is in the north Puget Sound, is 450 feet deep, and teeming with life, including Orcas whales, sea lions and salmon.
