Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil, which she describes as “back-to-basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

Artist Janice Sadler created her painting series in watercolor as an ode to her Southern California home. She particularly likes working in watercolors because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash, and flow into each other, and new colors evolve from it." Janice is inspired by the ocean and local flora.
