From 1969, this evocative photograph captures a sun-drenched moment at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera, where sleek wooden speedboats line the pier in quiet anticipation. Set against the serene expanse of the Mediterranean Sea, the scene embodies the effortless glamour and leisurely sophistication that defined the Riviera lifestyle during this golden era. Waterskiers carve through the calm waters, weaving a narrative of freedom and exhilaration amid one of Europe’s most iconic luxury destinations. The image reflects a time when the hotel was a magnet for the world’s elite, blending natural beauty with a vibrant social culture. His work for society publications captured an aspirational world of leisure and luxury that defined the American upper class throughout the mid-20th century, creating images that remain timeless symbols of sophistication and style. The photograph is presented as a high-resolution scan of the photo's original photographic slide, complete with hand-lettered archival notations along the mount. Offered exclusively by Soicher Marin, this edition preserves the full character of the original format, transforming it into a striking piece of wall art that merges history, authenticity, and timeless style. When Eric was 16 he borrowed his father's camera traipsing through the woods behind their home, walking along dirt roads in the hills above their house, looking—always looking. Eric supposes that’s what he's doing today—walking and looking and trying to see the way that others have seen, as he attempts to see, un-see, and re-see: making all things both foreign and new. Making a small space in each photo he takes, room for the viewer, a place of both welcome and challenge. Every image is a poem. Every scene has a kind of structure. The capture of a place, for instance, involves decisions of narrative perspective (where to look, from what position), of cadence (beats, breaks, a line beneath the sky), of tone. And just like a poem, the effective image compresses emotional experience into a single, small expression.

Captured in 1967, this vibrant photograph, "Sea Drive", shows film producer Kevin McClory enjoying a unique ride with his wife Bobo Sigrist and their family in an Amphicar, gliding smoothly across the turquoise waters of Nassau Harbour in the Bahamas. The playful amphibious vehicle, equally at home on land and sea, adds a whimsical touch to a scene defined by warmth, family, and tropical ease. The backdrop of palm-fringed shores and sunny skies reflects the laid-back luxury of mid-century Caribbean life, a favored escape for creatives and elites alike. This image evokes an era when leisure was an art form and the extraordinary was simply part of everyday living. Originally from Southern California, Ryann now lives in Austin, TX. At 12 or 13, her dad pulled out his old Pentax Spotmatic from Vietnam, and Ryann was immediately enthralled and determined to learn enough to create a photo. In high school, she fell in love with photography and soon after enrolled at the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, where she earned a BA in Photography, majoring in architecture. When creating personal work, she does not think about how the images she's creating will be perceived by others and only shoots what she's drawn to. When asked what she's most influenced by, Ryann states: "I’ve long been drawn to the American Southwest and forgotten places - that still holds true today, nearly 20 years after first picking up a camera. I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors and landscapes, but I’m especially interested in the landscape that has been manipulated and left behind by a man."
