I am so disappointed in the item I received. My painting doe not look remotely like the painting pictured online. Instead of the complex mixture of dark blues, light blues and grays that I was expecting, I got a cheap-looking version that is 50% dark blue, 50% champagne with random dabs of gold in the middle. The only nice thing I can say about this painting is the texture is done well.. Dana M. Pittsburgh. Wed Feb 12 2025

Artist Austin Bev grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn, where self-expression was usually found through wall tagging—or as they say in Italian, "graffito." Influenced by various artists, particularly Fernando Carlo (famed for his expressive graffiti), Bev’s childhood provides the edge and contemporary look found in his current work. A graduate of the Pratt Institute in the early 1990s, he now travels throughout America seeking inspiration, whether from a tagged wall or a fine art museum. He continues to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.
