Coastal Cream Fabric By The Yard

An all-over coral pattern is woven in a luxuriously dense viscose pile, for a plush and textured upholstery fabric. Small dots of color are woven into the cotton ground, accenting the nature-inspired design. The medium-scale and versatile palette makes this an easy fabric to layer into a variety of rooms when used as upholstered chairs and settees, headboards, or decorative pillows. The palette is sea-and-sand inspired, in hues ranging from watery Lagoon to a coral-like shade of Carnelian.

Created in collaboration with Caroline Z Hurley and based on her original paintings, Tropical Trees is a whimsical embroidered design featuring palm trees, painterly blooms, and other tropical motifs stitched on an airy linen ground. This open, large-scale botanical is a playful, textural pattern ideal for window treatments.

This delightful cotton fabric tells a story of a tranquil journey down winding lanes past country cottages meandering gently towards the sea. In subtle colorways to suit the atmosphere of the story it tells.

I love palm fronds. They are elegant and interesting, offering a simple design element both organic and symmetrical. Palm trees can be found all over the southern US from the beaches in Malibu to the beaches in Miami. I designed this particular pattern with the palm fronds in layers showing dimension and depth in the design. This pattern just had to be part of my collection. - Debra May Himes
