In a quite unique and profoundly contemporary scene of urban life, passengers including a mother and her children, a milliner, a nurse and a fashionable couple, ride an omnibus past to Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens. Few details are lost to the artist, including the advertisement for Pears Soap and the passing Hansom cab. Irish-born artist Joy studied in London and Paris, establishing himself as a history and genre painter who frequently exhibited at the Royal Academy. The authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original painting's texture, depth of color, and even its brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. It is surrounded by an imported, antique gold-toned, delicately sculpted 4" wide designer resin frame with a leaf motif. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

The artist uses broad brushstrokes to create a clearly recognizable image without being too representational. The earth tones color palette ties the elk to its surrounding, while the contrasting negative white space allows the image to pop.

Originally from Southern California, Ryann now lives in Austin, TX. At 12 or 13, her dad pulled out his old Pentax Spotmatic from Vietnam, and Ryann was immediately enthralled and determined to learn enough to create a photo. In high school, she fell in love with photography and soon after enrolled at the renowned Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, where she earned a BA in Photography, majoring in architecture. When creating personal work, she does not think about how the images she's creating will be perceived by others and only shoots what she's drawn to. When asked what she's most influenced by, Ryann states: "I’ve long been drawn to the American Southwest and forgotten places - that still holds true today, nearly 20 years after first picking up a camera. I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors and landscapes, but I’m especially interested in the landscape that has been manipulated and left behind by a man."

Since 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his eponymous design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Hollywood, California, and Park City, Utah. Butera is renowned for his approachable elegance and glamorous, West-Coastchic interiors. Barclay Butera’s inspirations are drawn from a diverse variety of grand architecture from coast to coast, European and Far Eastern influences including everything from the high-fashion runways to his far-flung world travels. But, he readily credits old Hollywood and West Palm Beach as among his greatest muses.
I don't understand the finish. I have never seen a wrapped canvas piece of art with a what might appear as a shiny, protective film on it. If under glass, one expects a reflection unless it's museum glass. However, canvas should represent a brushstroke quality making it a good representation of the original.. Ryan. Galion, OH. The artist, D’Alessandro Leon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods of time studying different techniques, D’Alessandro’s art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During D’Alessandro’s studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

The artist, Richard Ryder, developed an affinity towards art at an early age where he took every opportunity to incorporate art into his assignments. During his early years, while attending elementary school, he would doodle on the blank side of envelopes or any discarded paper. This drove his passion to pursue taking studio art courses while in high school & continued that pursuit through to four-year formal art education. As an artist that is heavily influenced by graphic design, Art Deco, and traditional animation, Richard aims to capture the beauty in whichever subject he is painting. He focuses on ways to exploit the basic elements of art to create a satisfying and cohesive design. As an artist, Richard seeks to improve and challenge himself. He states that “With the internet, I am constantly inspired by art either in the fine art or commercial field. It is this exposure that leads me to constantly explore different mediums and styles."

The artist, David Brown, studied and received his Fine Arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. “People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/ paintings …I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model”. His art is his one true passion and he believes that, “artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world”.

This timeless photograph captures legendary American polo champion Stephen "Laddie" Sanford taking a moment of leisure before a match at the prestigious Gulfstream Polo Club in Delray, Florida, in 1955. The image showcases one of America's greatest polo players in his element, embodying the sophisticated sporting culture that defined Palm Beach society during the height of the post-war era. Depicting the epitome of American sporting aristocracy, this photograph represents the golden age of polo when the sport commanded immense social prestige and attracted the nation's most prominent families. Sanford, whose Hurricanes team claimed the U.S. Open Polo Championship five times across three decades, personifies the intersection of athletic excellence and high society that characterized Palm Beach's exclusive sporting scene, where international celebrities, royalty, and America's social elite gathered to witness the world's finest polo talent. Slim Aarons, renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places," was the quintessential chronicler of high society. After serving as a war photographer, Aarons turned his lens to a new landscape: the glamorous lives of Hollywood elites, Palm Beach socialites, and jet-setting debutantes and princes. His work for society publications captured an aspirational world of leisure and luxury that defined the American upper class throughout the mid-20th century, creating images that remain timeless symbols of sophistication and style. Every piece in our unique Slim Aarons collection is meticulously handcrafted using archival materials and printed on premium, luster photographic paper with environmentally safe inks, custom framed by skilled artisans who ensure that each work of art meets the exacting standards befitting such an iconic photograph.

Shawn Thomas is a photographer from Austin, Texas. His education and professional background are in social work, education, and statistics, and I continue to be interested in utilizing social science research to better understand how all people can master themselves and their environments to realize their potential and their dreams. "In my work, I generally don’t go looking for the most amazing waterfalls or vistas or architectural wonders, though I am happy to photograph those amazing subjects whenever I have the chance. Instead, I more typically go out to explore everyday scenes or objects in which wonders exist but often go unnoticed. I would like my work to turn people on to the many amazing things that surround them every day, and the brilliance within that too often goes unnoticed. Like a yellowed leaf that’s fallen on the hood of a deep blue car, or two bright green vines that meet and wrap around each other in an empty space."
