Burgundy & Purple Floral & Botanical Wallpaper

The swirling rhythms and complex structure of this wallpaper made it the choice for Morris himself when decorating his dining room at Kelmscott House. Designed in 1876, this painterly design is available in a feminine yet robust colorways.

Haven’t put this up yet, but my expectations are very positive. Love the weight and look of the paper.. Marsha. Queenstown, MD. Fri May 22 2026

Designed in 1892, Blackthorn was originally block-printed and features white blackthorn (or sloe) blossoms and violets with meadow flowers of red snakes head fritillaries and yellow daisies. The flowers bloom from a lattice of curling foliage, leaves, and stems in this iconic Morris pattern. Typical of Morris’ work, Blackthorn is a celebration of the beauty of nature. Blackthorn Plum contains a mixture of cranberry, mustard yellow, and terracotta tones, accompanied by accents of light greys and peach, laid upon a rich plum background. This wallpaper is finished with a matte finish, adding a contemporary feel to this classic design by Morris.

Perhaps William Morris’s most recognizable design, Strawberry Thief, was inspired by the thrushes that crept under Morris’s strawberry nets in his garden at Kelmscott Manor, Oxfordshire. The original pattern took several days to print using hand-carved woodblocks to build up the different colors, and ‘Strawberry Thief’ was consequently one of Morris’s firm’s most expensive cottons. While waiting to see the first piece printed, Morris endured sleepless nights in his lodgings at Merton Abbey. Designed in 1883, Strawberry Thief remains one of William Morris’s most popular and iconic designs. Strawberry Thief provides a depth of rich color, partnered with pops of lighter tones to accentuate the detail within the design. This matte finish wallpaper invites the outdoors in, in a complementing and easy on the eye manner.

Paper is beautiful. Not up yet though.. Thomas. Crawfordsville, IN. Tue Mar 10 2026

Aurelia, surrounded by all a manner of Tudor beasts, clothed in heavy, embellished jacquard is the centerpiece of this meticulously detailed wallpaper. Ornately decorated with creatures, Aurelia's Grail, a coveted world in which fantasy resides, features unicorns, yales, capuchins, pygmy parrots, and Japanese Chin dogs, between vines and English roses, a heady ground from which Aurelia stands as curator of her world. Reflecting the art of tapestry making in wallpaper, Aurelia's Grail references the ornate tradition, the rose conveys its Britishness and the Trompe-l'oeil style accentuates the regality of the design.

Against a delicate cage-like grid reminiscent of a vintage aviary, the birdhouse sees a flock of beautiful birds swoop down from the Tyrolean mountains. Swirling among them are delicate flowers and leafy garlands that bring this charming design together.

The wallpaper is gorgeous! BUT there is not enough at the end of a roll to make up any extra- the repeat does not allow for 'Patching' in the last strip. So, I have 4 more inches of wall than I do wallpaper..... No Bueno! I gave my wall dimensions and even added 5" to the size and the pieces I cut off each (6) roll is all the same and will only fit in one spot of the repeat. So basically you need to understand that the roll is 20.5" wide and you aren't using any part you cut off the bottom. It's adorable - I love it. I just wish I had one more roll of it....... Tracie. This iconic pattern forms part of The Gallery’s collection of earlier printed chintz and wallpaper lengths. The design is based on the natural willow form, which was one of William Morris’ favorite motifs. Originally designed by William Morris as a wallpaper in 1887 and adapted for fabric in 1895, it is block printed in a diagonal branch pattern at Merton Abbey and combines abstraction with a gentle reminder of the outdoors. Simple yet stunning, Willow Bough Plum wallpaper displays trailing leaves with subtle boldness, complimented by popping rose-inspired orange, and is completed with a matte finish for a sophisticated modern feel.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bown - Off The Wall Wallpaper Collection. Welcome to the world of wallpaper where the walls become main characters in a romantic storybook. My approach to pattern-making always starts with my own fine art. The genesis of all these patterns is a good old-fashioned drawing, ink on textured paper, which always shines through. When you use one of my papers on your wall, you are papering your room with art. In a world where layering and storytelling are increasingly important in the way we decorate, all my wallpapers have a lot to say for themselves. That said, I have combined lush pattern-making with an experienced eye for what really works on the wall, calculating repeat sizes and color fields to be perfectly balanced and extremely easy to use as a background for modern living.

I purchased this wallpaper for my dining room. The print is dramatic & moody, and the colors are vivid. On feel, you can tell that it is a high quality product.. Stephanie. Tue May 26 2026

Acanthus leaves decorate many of Morris’s designs and are made a central feature in his ‘Acanthus’ pattern for wallpaper. First used in Ancient Greek friezes and on the capitals of Corinthian columns, these swirling, curling leaves have decorated walls and buildings ever since. Morris found this classical motif ideal for repeating patterns and believed the large pattern he created here was perfect for smaller rooms, creating a more restful atmosphere than a smaller, dense pattern. Acanthus Blue from William Morris displays the beauty of Morris’ large leafy designs in calming yet engaging deep blue and teal tones. The matte paper finish of this wallpaper accentuates the fusion of classical and contemporary.

Just received this fabulous wallpaper. It’s so beautiful in person. Will be a great update to my hall. Will send pictures when able. Chris. Atlanta, GA. Tue Dec 09 2025
