Artist Mark Sargent was born in Buffalo, NY and grew up in Egypt. He studied modern art and art history at the University of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt. Mark's grandfather was one of the earliest generations who founded modern Egyptian art. He remembers growing up and admiring his paintings. Mark's skill set developed studying old master paintings in museums in different countries around the world. Mark finds inspiration from nature and the world around him, such as everyday events and details that most people would miss. Mark enjoys using the oil medium for his art.

Alexander Nikanpour is a contemporary visual artist living in Northern California. After graduating with a master of fine arts in communications design from the HDK University in Gothenburg, Sweden, he went on to study environmental design at Parsons School of Design in New York City.
