Burgundy Mixed Media Wall Art

“Fashion Illustration” by Ute Rathmann captures the poetic rhythm of haute couture through fluid brushwork and expressive form. A solitary figure emerges in burnt sienna, ochre, and muted rose, rendered in loose, gestural strokes that evoke motion and emotion. The translucent layering of watercolor and ink gives the composition a sense of depth and spontaneity—an ode to the ephemeral elegance of the runway. The warm neutral backdrop contrasts with the glowing gold frame, creating a dialogue between modern refinement and artistic imperfection. Exclusively curated by R2H Modern, this piece transforms fashion illustration into a study of contemporary grace and timeless allure.

“Hommage an Cranach XVIII” by Ute Rathmann reinterprets classical portraiture through a modern, poetic lens. A solitary female figure, adorned in a voluminous gown of crimson and coral collage, evokes the elegance of Renaissance grace blended with contemporary abstraction. The delicate interplay between line and texture captures fragility, strength, and timeless femininity. Printed on museum-grade fine art paper and framed in radiant gold, this piece bridges tradition and modernity with refined sophistication. Handcrafted in Tennessee, it exemplifies the artistry and craftsmanship that define R2H Modern.

The artist, Richard Ryder, developed an affinity towards art at an early age where he took every opportunity to incorporate art into his assignments. During his early years, while attending elementary school, he would doodle on the blank side of envelopes or any discarded paper. This drove his passion to pursue taking studio art courses while in high school & continued that pursuit through to four-year formal art education. As an artist that is heavily influenced by graphic design, art deco, and traditional animation, Richard aims to capture the beauty in whichever subject he is painting. He focuses on ways to exploit the basic elements of art to create a satisfying and cohesive design. As an artist, Richard seeks to improve and challenge himself. He states that “With the internet, I am constantly inspired by art either in the fine art or commercial field. It is this exposure that leads me to constantly explore different mediums and styles."

“Animals Vintage 13” by Rafal Kulik features a fox rendered in rusted copper, ash gray, and muted blue. Its observant gaze and soft illumination evoke curiosity and quiet intelligence, surrounded by a fading field of antique florals. The composition’s aged surface and painterly strokes breathe soul into the wild. Produced with exquisite care by R2H Modern, this piece exudes cultivated whimsy.
