L. Bodine grew up in the pastoral lands of Kentucky, using the colors and patterns in nature as his inspiration. As the oldest of nine children, he spent most of his time taking care of his younger brothers and sisters. During his spare time, he used art as an escape from his busy life. Obsessed with the peace of mind that art gave him, he decided to pursue a career as an artist. Although he resides in Kentucky near his family, he spent most of his adult life traveling the country and soaking up inspiration. L. Bodine continues to travel, spending his time in nature and studying the different palettes and shapes of the world to fuel his work.

In this Chinese fine brush painting, early winter sets in at dusk. Over a misty river, the sun seems to hide behind a curtain, creating a dreamy feel. A teal kingfisher sits on a reed, its bright colors popping against the scene. Snowflakes lightly touch the reeds, adding a hint of winter chill. The river is calm, and the bird seems lost in thought, looking at the setting sun. The painting has a calm vibe, and the detailed feathers of the kingfisher show the artist's skill. It feels like you're right there, experiencing the moment.

It’s beautiful. It took forever to arrive and the frame was a bit dinged up. Surprising for something so pricey. I didn’t want to return and have to wait months again so I used a sharpie to disguise the affected areas. Unless you’re nose with it, one cannot tell. It is a soothing piece for my Asian-themed bedroom but would be at home anywhere!. Renã©e. Lithonia, GA. Sun Feb 02 2025

A dignified bird perches on the branch of a tree in this pleasing natural piece of art.

I love this painting (and GlisteningBird 2) - it is beautiful and PERFECT in our dining room. However, note the width of this painting is actually 33.75”, not 38.75 as stated, which honestly was what I was hoping bc I bought the pair (Glistening Bird 1 2)…they were listed as different widths but I took a chance based on my research from other sites where the paintings were over 1,000 plus 200 in shipping) and glad I did. Can’t wait to get them hung. Packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. Kelly. US. Mon Dec 18 2023

Enhance your space with this modern wrapped canvas titled, 'Windswept' by Patricia Schwimmer. This art is handcrafted in Chattanooga, Tennessee by Ready2hangart using a print on canvas assembled on a pine wood frame and finished with a rear hanger for simple installation. This contemporary print blends multi-dimensional hues of blue and green toned brushstrokes that exceptionally captivates the methodical abstract theme found in Patricia Schwimmer’s collections and original paintings.

This art is fine but I didn’t love it like I thought I would. The background is not a pure white, it’s more a natural color so in places it looks a little dirty. I was hoping it would be bright white like the other piece we purchased but it still looks good. It’s just not jaw-dropping good.. Janita. Chesapeake, VA. Tue Mar 29 2022

This masterpiece from the Qing Dynasty, titled Magnolia and Rosefinches is a masterpiece by the talented artist Yu Zhi. The painting invites viewers into a tranquil scene where a magnolia tree is in splendid full bloom, its lustrous white petals contrasting beautifully with the wine-red hue of the two rosefinches perched nearby. The still-unopened buds hint at the promise of more beauty to unfold. Yu Zhi's meticulous brushwork and tasteful palette not only make the painting visually delightful but also transport the viewer into the scene, enveloped in nature's gentle embrace.
