Mine actually arrived with a different frame than what I was expecting from the listing photos, so I was unsure at first. But once I got it leaned up and styled, I completely changed my mind. The frame I received has a softer, more textured look in person that actually works really well with my space and gives it more character. The artwork itself is beautiful — very neutral, calming, and easy to work into a room without overpowering everything else. It has that high-end abstract look that makes a space feel more finished and layered. Packaging was great and everything arrived in perfect condition. Beautiful artwork! I am pleased with the art itself however, I am disappointed that one of the frames has a small dent in it. It’s too much trouble to box it up and return it. Although born and raised in Los Angeles, artist Van Garret has been heavily influenced by traveling abroad to a multitude of countries, especially Iceland. Music is a big part of his life and it sparked his creativity even before he began painting. In fact, Van did not begin painting until he was in college and he is self-taught. “Art was something that was always in my genes. It makes me happy. I believe that every artist leaves a piece of themselves in their artwork.
