Artist Commentary: I find water particularly beautiful and intriguing because of the contrast of its strength and softness. It has the power to reshape stones and yet can run through your fingers. The water in this painting is in the north Puget Sound, is 450 feet deep, and teeming with life, including Orcas whales, sea lions and salmon.
Very lovely. The print, however does not show the minute dots of color which the artist used to create an amazing piece. Diane. Eugene, OR. Thu Jul 31 2025
