Not many decorative boxes carry enough presence to hold a console on their own, which is what the Prothero Rectangular Large Box is built to do. Its surface is a patchwork of neutral bone, each panel cut and set by hand so the seams read as pattern rather than repetition. Inside, a linen lining softens the base for watches, remotes, cards, and the small things that otherwise collect in a dish. Scaled for a coffee table or an entry console rather than a nightstand, it hides clutter in plain sight and still looks like an object worth showing.

Inspired by bamboo, the Knepp Hexagonal Box set carves dyed bone into segmented stalk forms and wraps them around six-sided cases. Open either box and the interior is lined in linen, ready for keys by the door, paper clips at a desk, or earrings on a dresser. Six sides give the pair a faceted profile that catches light on one plane and shades the next. The bamboo reference is clear without being literal, which is what lets the pair sit with plain modern furniture as easily as with older pieces.
