The artist, D’Alessandro Léon, was the youngest of three brothers. When art competitions were a form of play for the brothers, it later grew to his obsession. D’Alessandro Léon attended the Art Institute of California where he explored mixing mediums as well as digital. He also attended illustration, Sculpting, and Fine Art workshops. After spending long periods studying different techniques, D’Alessandro Léon's art became increasingly influenced by artists from the early 1900s. During his studies, he painted many different themes. He painted with restless intensity, often painting from morning until night. D’Alessandro Léon was able to indulge his earliest artistic preferences for people, nature, architecture, and landscapes in his illustration and personal pieces.

Artist Janice Sadler particularly likes working in watercolors, because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash and flow into each other and new colors evolve from it." Janice's "Walking on a Stage" series is ideally suited to depicting soft, elegant dancers.

My piece just arrived, while it is a beautiful painting, i have to say it is ruined by the very, very high glass epoxy that was put on top of the painting. While this might afford protection, most art in floating frames do not have this. and it is not visible in the photos. They should have used either nothing or a non glare option. Because it causes great glare off the picture, taking away from the beautiful piece and making it look like a cheap poster. Not what I expected for this price. Artist Austin Bev grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn, where self-expression was usually found through wall tagging—or as they say in Italian, "graffito." A graduate of the Pratt Institute in the early 1990s, he now travels throughout America seeking inspiration, whether from a tagged wall or a fine art museum. Mark finds inspiration from nature and the world around him, such as everyday events and details that most people would miss. Mark enjoys using the oil medium for his art. The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in Drawing and Painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. “People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/ paintings …I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model”. His art is his one true passion and he believes that, “artists are super sensitive and emotional human beings, our work is a physical representation of our thoughts and emotions, a diary that we choose to share with the world”.

This painting is spectacular! I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect mix of grays and blues that I was looking for. I was very hesitant to buy artwork without actually seeing it, but I can say that the delivered product looks exactly as the image on the Perigold site. I also opted for having it delivered inside my house versus left on the step. The delivery people carefully handled the painting and were very professional. There wasn't a mark or ding on the box.
