The Kensey discs mirror takes over 20 large discs of iron to make each mirror and each disc must undergo an intensive process to get its interesting oxidized look. Discs are hand-cut, forming the raw edges, then given an oxidized finish with a chemical-and-fire technique. This free-hand artistry comes together to frame an industrial, rich mirror.

Each iron filament of the Prairie Mirror is carefully welded to the mirror's frame so that each piece is perfectly, evenly spaced. Then the frame is shaped into a 3-D waving motion and an outer frame is added to the edges. Brass braising highlights the base of the glass and edges of the mirror. The Prairie Mirror is deceptively large at 46 inches in diameter and makes a strong statement wherever it hangs. Beveled glass.

Organic designs are crafted from French oak veneers and select hardwoods in their natural coloration with accents in pitted aluminum with an antiqued gunmetal finish. The mirror features wood framing around the inside perimeter and metal framing around the outside perimeter. Verite features sawn planks of European white oak in their natural state and will show all of the hallmarks of naturally dried wood, including knots, color variation, and cracking. Although finished in a highly protective top coat, every Verite top will vary in appearance and coloration from piece to piece.
