Abstract Plastic/Acrylic Photography

Austin Beiv grew up in the tough streets of Brooklyn. Where the expression of one’s self was usually done through wall tagging, or as we say in Italian "graffito". Austin was influenced by many different artists particularly Fernando Carlo. Fernando was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence from Austin’s childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. Austin graduated from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s. Austin now travels all over America to look for inspirations whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Austin loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

Show off your personality while making an impactful statement to your décor with these stunning museum-quality art pieces. The results are a completely realistic UltraHD photo print that has vivid colors, and bold contrasts that are UV protected and halftone-free. All pieces are backed with aluminum framing, creating a floating effect. Differences between acrylic and aluminum: First thing to note is that you can’t go wrong with either medium! In general, the aluminum/metal prints have a matte finish in comparison to the acrylic gloss finish. HD acrylic: On 1/4" acrylic pieces the image is back mounted under the acrylic. The optical transparent acrylic glass enhances the effect of depth and brings out the metallic UltraHD photo print’s exact contours and details for a stunning 3D effect. Because the image is printed using metallic UltraHD photo paper, this format will give you sharper lines and edges at higher resolutions. There is a reflective property with acrylic which light refracts through the acrylic glass, giving your photos substance and depth, as well an edge quality from edge to edge. Also notable is that all our acrylic art piece’s edges are hand-diamond polished to capture the surrounding light. HD metal: The image is printed/infused directly on diamond pearl white aluminum on the metal pieces. The diamond-pearl aluminum creates a stunning shimmer with a satin seen enhancing the reflective properties of the image. Images appear crisp and are very visible in brightly light areas while maintaining an overall metallic sheen. All our metal prints are made of weather-resistant material, exhibiting impressive color intensity using UV color-protected technology. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor areas or bathrooms.

Artist Zoey Riley was born to very conservative and traditional parents, who did not support her interest in fine arts. Zoey pursued her passion for fine art secretly as an adolescent, due to her parent's restrictions, and used the art she viewed in galleries as her tutor. As soon as she was of age, she fled her hometown to live in New York City in order to be closer to a fast-paced environment, concentrated with art galleries. Zoey used everything around her to draw inspiration, from the street signs to the dancers seen through the windows of dance studios. After taking in all she could from the modern New York art scene, Zoey made her move to San Francisco, where she could expand her skills and be a part of the culture-filled scene. Today, she resides in Southern California, still searching for the experience that will take her to the next level.
