Artist Tommy Kwak’s work explores the transience of landscapes and natural forms through ethereal large-format color photographs. His work has been shown in New York City and Iceland. He earned a BFA in graphic design from California College of the Arts in 2002 and completed photography courses at the International Center of Photography from 2006 to 2008. In 2010 and 2016, Tommy participated in the SIM Residency program in Reykjavik, Iceland, as well as the international arts festival, Villa Reykjavik. Tommy grew up outside of Chicago, lived and worked in Brooklyn, NY for 13 years, and now resides in Montclair, NJ.

The artist, David Brown, studied and received his fine arts training at California State University of Long Beach and graduated with a BFA in drawing and painting in 2018. As a child, he watched his older brother draw and recalls wanting to draw just like him when he grew up. David currently lives in Long Beach, California, and has been lucky to show his work in multiple group shows and a few solo shows, mostly based in the Los Angeles area. His traditional work includes oil, charcoal, and graphite. He is strongly influenced by Renaissance, Baroque, and a lot of today’s contemporary work. David’s work is predominately focused on the human figure. "People are my inspiration. I love learning people’s stories and try to capture the sitter’s narrative through my drawings/paintings. I love drawing people from life, I feel that my work focuses on the relationship between artist and model".
