They left it outside and uncovered leaning against an expensive potted plant and the garage door. I have a large covered porch. It rains here a lot. Austin Beiv grew up on the tough streets of Brooklyn, where the expression of oneself was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian, "graffito." Austin was influenced by many different artists, particularly Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. The influence of his childhood is where the edge and contemporary look comes from in his art pieces. After graduating from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s, Austin now travels all over America to look for inspiration, whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. He loves to embrace all the unique and expressive simplicities life offers.

Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating it, I explore the deepest side of myself and examine my state of mind. It always brings me to a state of pure joy—the place in which I can truly be myself.” Her favorite medium is the pencil, which she describes as “back to basics art.” When not in her studio, she finds inspiration in daily strolls, travel, reading, and embroidery.
