Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of myself and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil, which she describes as “back-to-basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

This dynamic photograph captures the electric atmosphere of the 1963 Bahamas Speed Week at the Oakes Course in Nassau, featuring Gordon Butler's Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray amid the glamorous chaos of one of motorsport's most legendary events. The Bahamas Speed Week was an annual motor racing meeting held at Nassau from 1954 to 1966, and by 1963, it had evolved into one of the most glamorous, party-filled, and hotly contested events on the motorsports calendar. American cars came to the fore in 1963 with Ford and Chevrolet challenging the European marques, with A.J. Foyt winning the Nassau Trophy race that year. The 1963 edition was particularly special with great names such as Stirling Moss, A.J. Foyt, Pedro Rodriguez, Dan Gurney, Ken Miles, and Carroll Shelby descending on Nassau, creating a perfect blend of serious competition and Caribbean luxury that epitomized the jet-set lifestyle of the era. Slim Aarons, renowned for his evocative photographs of, as he described it, "attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places," was the quintessential chronicler of high society. After serving as a war photographer, Aarons turned his lens to a new landscape: the glamorous lives of Hollywood elites, Palm Beach socialites, and jet-setting debutantes and princes. His work for society publications captured an aspirational world of leisure and luxury that defined the American upper class throughout the mid-20th century, creating images that remain timeless symbols of sophistication and style. Every piece in our unique Slim Aarons collection is meticulously handcrafted using archival materials and printed on premium, luster photographic paper with environmentally safe inks, custom framed by skilled artisans who ensure that each work of art meets the exacting standards befitting such an iconic photograph.

Artist Janice Sadler created her painting series in watercolor as an ode to her Southern California home. She particularly likes working in watercolors because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash and flow into each other and new colors evolve from it." Inspired by the ocean and local flora, this watercolor series is ideally suited to recreating the visual flavor of the seaside.
Background is really beige almost yellowish . There this (I don’t know what to call it ) “puzzle piece” on her mid back that is very white and rectangular with a jagged edge . Not sure what it’s suppose to be but looks like a poorly cut bandaid . My eye goes straight to it as it’s so stark white compared to the rest of her back . Guess that’s what I get for ordering “art” without seeing it in person . Other than the yellow background and bandaid on her back , it’s tolerable. To me it’s worth about 400 dollars . Not the near 2000 I paid .. Nancy. Lafayette, LA. Thu Jan 15 2026

This charming photograph captures the iconic Lilly Pulitzer boutique in Palm Beach, Florida, taken on January 1, 1968, showcasing the vibrant retail environment that embodied the brand's spirited approach to fashion and lifestyle. The image features the juice bar that remained part of the store as a nod to Lilly's original fruit stand on Via Mizner, where her fashion empire began, complete with signage for the brand's original "Men's Stuff" line that represented an early foray into menswear during the company's golden era. Lilly Pulitzer's Palm Beach shop represented the epicenter of American resort fashion, where the socialite-turned-entrepreneur had transformed a humble juice stand into a fashion phenomenon that defined the preppy, sun-soaked lifestyle of the 1960s. Founded in 1959 after Lilly needed a "uniform" to camouflage citrus stains while working her juice stand, the brand's colorful shift dresses became the unofficial uniform of Palm Beach's elite social set. By 1968, the boutique was attracting celebrities, socialites, and fashion enthusiasts who sought the vibrant prints and effortless elegance that characterized the Lilly Pulitzer aesthetic, making it synonymous with the carefree sophistication of American resort wear. The image features Lilly Pulitzer herself in the back row, third from left, along with New York socialite and artist Wendy Vanderbilt prominently seated in the front row wearing a yellow dress with pink headscarf. This legendary photograph, often referred to as "The Young Matrons of Palm Beach," became one of the most celebrated fashion images of the 1960s, showcasing the vibrant shift dresses that would define American resort wear for generations. By 1964, Lilly Pulitzer's colorful shift dresses had transformed from a practical solution for her juice stand uniform into a fashion phenomenon that captured the essence of Palm Beach's sophisticated yet relaxed lifestyle. The whimsical prints featured in this photograph were created by artist Suzie Zuzek at Key West Hand Print Fabrics, whose imaginative designs of tropical motifs and bold patterns became synonymous with the Lilly Pulitzer brand. This delightful photograph captures fashion designer Lilly Pulitzer and socialite Florence "Flo" Pritchett Smith at a poolside gathering in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 1961. The image perfectly embodies the relaxed sophistication and social intimacy that characterized Palm Beach's elite circles during the early 1960s, when influential women like these two style icons helped define American resort fashion and the leisurely lifestyle that would become synonymous with Florida's Gold Coast. Florence Pritchett Smith, wife of American diplomat and former Ambassador to Cuba Earl E.T. Smith, was a prominent model-turned-socialite who epitomized Palm Beach elegance, while Lilly Pulitzer was establishing herself as the revolutionary force behind colorful shift dresses that would transform resort wear forever. By 1961, Pulitzer's vibrant prints and effortless designs were gaining momentum among Palm Beach's fashionable set, creating the foundation for what would become an American fashion empire. This photograph captures two women at the center of Palm Beach's cultural transformation, where casual luxury and sophisticated style converged to create the distinctive aesthetic that would define the era's most exclusive winter retreat.
