Dawn was born in the Midwest of Italian-Irish heritage. She is a self-taught artist with Midwestern sensibilities and a sophisticated eye for style. Dawn is the founder of Notre Monde, the elegant furniture company, which has become a direct expression of the artists’ cheerful, ongoing immersion into various cultures through travel. Dawn draws her inspiration not only from extensive European travels but also her experience from making a home in Russia and Western Europe before settling in Columbus, Ohio. Motifs and methods used in her products show their interest in the art and design of Eastern and Western Europe, but perhaps even more important, her respect for ways in which other communities embrace the good life. Dawn has the fanciful stylistic intuition of an aesthete, though one firmly grounded in the disciplines of mural painting and contemporary art and design. Melding luxury with practicality, in the spirit of decorative objects from 18th century Europe to the present day.

Buying some of Dana Gibson’s work is an ideal way to brighten up – literally – your home and make it into something truly unique and personal. The wonderful thing about Dana Gibson is that there really is something for everyone. Although that phrase can seem cliché in some circles, here it is simply a statement of fact. From giclee prints to cushions to light sconces to desk accessories, and so much more besides, you can start your Dana Gibson collection in any room of the house, and grow it from there.
I have another beautiful piece from Dana Gibson. This is my 4th! As a bonus all her prints are beautifully framed. I was recentlyI in Palm Beach and shopped in a Perigold store. The store is beyond beautiful. I highly recommend a visit if you love beautiful things.. Anonymous. Thu Oct 22 2026

She studied illustration at the Art Center College of Design where she developed her fundamental drawing and painting skills, as well as getting basic knowledge of technical programs. For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express herself. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artist’s work is in bringing excitement and happiness into people’s minds. ‘I love to create art that makes your heart warm’.

Chris Dunker has photographed industrial culture for over two decades. His father introduced photography to Chris at an early age. Chris attended Al Weber Workshops and classes at the community college where Chris’s father taught photography. Dunker earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Art and Design with a photography concentration and a minor in Philosophy from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. In 1995 he completed a Master of Fine Arts in photography from Utah State University. Chris grew up in China Lake, California which is in the isolated and remote high desert east of the Sierras. This austere and harsh environment is punctuated with mining outposts, rock art, and industrial-military structures, all influences of Dunker’s formative years. A strong interest in industrial music and performance groups like Survival Research Laboratories expanded his understanding of how industrial dynamics could be integrated into art forms and how an aesthetic could be derived from objects of utility. As an Assistant Professor of Photography at Utah State University, Dunker taught the History of Photography and many other classes. Research in this field broadened his awareness of how photographers consider the role of industrial culture in relation to the human condition.

Show off your personality while making an impactful statement to your décor with these stunning museum-quality art pieces. Each piece is printed in ultra-high resolution on your choice of premium ultra-HD metallic photo paper back-mounted under transparent acrylic glass or a high-definition print directly on high-quality diamond pearl white aluminum. Both results are a completely realistic ultra-HD photo print that has vivid colors, bold contrasts UV protection, and is halftone-free. All pieces are backed with aluminum framing which creates a floating effect and comes ready to hang. Differences between acrylic and aluminum: First thing to note is that you can’t go wrong with either medium! In general, the aluminum/metal prints have a matte finish compared to the acrylic gloss finish. HD acrylic: On 1/4" acrylic pieces the image is back mounted under the acrylic. The optical transparent acrylic glass enhances the effect of depth and brings out the metallic UltraHD photo print’s exact contours and details for a stunning 3D effect. Because the image is printed using metallic UltraHD photo paper, this format will give you sharper lines and edges at higher resolutions. There is a reflective property with acrylic which light refracts through the acrylic glass, giving your photos substance and depth, as well as superb image quality from edge to edge. Also notable is that all our acrylic art piece’s edges are hand-diamond polished to capture the surrounding light. HD metal: On the metal pieces the image is printed/infused directly on diamond pearl white aluminum. The diamond-pearl aluminum creates a stunning shimmer with a satin seen enhancing the reflective properties of the image. Images appear crisp and visible in brightly light areas while maintaining an overall metallic sheen. All our metal prints are made of weather-resistant material, exhibiting impressive color intensity using UV Color protected technology. This makes it suitable for covered outdoor areas or bathrooms and comes ready to hang.
