The item itself seems well made, but seems to be a lot plainer in person than the pictures showing on Wayfair. I selected this one at a higher price and really long lead/shipping time (2-3months), over a similar picture, due to the description stating this print had “Extra Added Texture” hand applied after printed. The painting I received does not have any texture to it that I can tell. It feels like a print with a clear coat. It did arrive 1 month earlier than the delivery date, which normally would have been appreciated, but I happened to be out of town for 2 weeks when it arrived on our porch. Maybe that is why it was early….texture didn’t get applied? I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning, so I will keep it and maybe try adding some texture and sparkle to it myself, so it stands out a little more. Elle Youngstrom was born in San Diego, CA. Elle is self-taught and while she does not have any formal training, her grandfather was a great influence in her artistic career. Watercolor is her first love, but she also works with other textures and mediums. Elle utilizes her art creation as a way to express and communicate her feelings. Anything from a walk in the park to Sunday brunch with friends to trips to a local gallery all brings her inspiration on a daily basis. She often finds inspiration on her daily hikes or while traveling abroad. Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing and is a self-taught, artist. “Art means meditation to me. By creating art, I get to go explore the deepest side of me and examine my state of mind. Creating art always brought me to a state of pure joy. It is the place in which I can be myself.” Her favorite medium to use is a pencil which she describes as “back to basics art.” She finds inspiration in daily strolls and travel. She also enjoys reading and sewing embroidery when she is not creating new artwork.

The prints are beautiful but the background is more pink than white which does not work in my room. When I tried to return these prints I was told they were non-returnable which was not specified when I purchased the prints. Turns out there are two ways to check out on the website. You can "review cart" or go directly to "check out now". If you click on "review cart" you are told the items are non-returnable. I clicked on "check out now" and there was no mention of the items being non-returnable. After several attempt to resolve this issue with customer service to no avail, I am stuck with two very expensive prints that I cannot use. Seems to me the website should be more transparent in communicating which items are non returnable regardless of the way you check out. I will not be buying anything from Perigold or Wayfair again..
