Artist Janice Sadler particularly likes working in watercolors, because "the subtle colors intermingle, wash and flow into each other and new colors evolve from it." Janice's "Walking on a Stage" series is ideally suited to depicting soft, elegant dancers.
My piece just arrived, while it is a beautiful painting, i have to say it is ruined by the very, very high glass epoxy that was put on top of the painting. While this might afford protection, most art in floating frames do not have this. and it is not visible in the photos. They should have used either nothing or a non glare option. Because it causes great glare off the picture, taking away from the beautiful piece and making it look like a cheap poster. Not what I expected for this price. Its too bad, aside from that it is beautiful, but beware. Its a shame the pictures do not accurately depic what this epoxy actual does to this picture. Sheila. Dover, NH. Thu Apr 08 2021

Romantic Figures 6 is a series of six playful prints reminiscent of illustrated playing cards. The series is a delightful mash-up of early synthetic cubist sentiments and bold German expressionist figures. Synthetic cubism of the early 20th century began to blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture by offering a new understanding of the pictorial surface. During the same time, German expressionism broke away from traditional norms of representing the human figure. In Romantic Figure 6, the royal prince stands determined at court confident of his position. Wearing a dark crown, he calculatingly balances an apple in the palm of his hand. His hunter-green robe tops his cubist truncated khaki trousers. He claims his fate. Part of the exclusive collection, Romantic Figures 6 offers a striking portrayal of synthetic cubism and German expressionism in this original series of works.

Background is really beige almost yellowish . There this (I don’t know what to call it ) “puzzle piece” on her mid back that is very white and rectangular with a jagged edge . Not sure what it’s suppose to be but looks like a poorly cut bandaid . My eye goes straight to it as it’s so stark white compared to the rest of her back . Guess that’s what I get for ordering “art” without seeing it in person . Other than the yellow background and bandaid on her back , it’s tolerable. To me it’s worth about 400 dollars . Not the near 2000 I paid .. Nancy. Lafayette, LA. Thu Jan 15 2026

This iconic photograph captures women of Palm Beach wearing designs by Lilly Pulitzer for a fashion shoot at 400 South Ocean Boulevard, Palm Beach, Florida, in 1964. The image features Lilly Pulitzer herself in the back row, third from left, along with New York socialite and artist Wendy Vanderbilt prominently seated in the front row wearing a yellow dress with pink headscarf. This legendary photograph, often referred to as "The Young Matrons of Palm Beach," became one of the most celebrated fashion images of the 1960s, showcasing the vibrant shift dresses that would define American resort wear for generations. By 1964, Lilly Pulitzer's colorful shift dresses had transformed from a practical solution for her juice stand uniform into a fashion phenomenon that captured the essence of Palm Beach's sophisticated yet relaxed lifestyle. The whimsical prints featured in this photograph were created by artist Suzie Zuzek at Key West Hand Print Fabrics, whose imaginative designs of tropical motifs and bold patterns became synonymous with the Lilly Pulitzer brand. This fashion shoot represented the pinnacle of 1960s American resort fashion, where the carefree elegance of Palm Beach society converged with revolutionary design to create a distinctly American aesthetic that would influence fashion for decades to come.
