Artist Mark Sargent was born in Buffalo, NY, and grew up in Egypt. He studied modern art and art history at the University of Fine Arts in Cairo. Mark's grandfather was one of the pioneers who founded modern Egyptian art, and Mark fondly remembers growing up and admiring his paintings. Mark's skill set developed by studying Old Master paintings in museums around the world. Mark finds inspiration from nature and the world around him, such as everyday events and details that most people would miss. Mark enjoys using the oil medium for his art.

Artist Wendy Kleine was born in Encino, California, and lived in Southern California until she was 7 years old and then moved with her family to Chicago, Illinois. While she had been influenced by her mother's love of art as a small child, she was also inspired by her many trips to the Chicago Art Institute. In 1972 she and her family moved to the small mountain town of Lake Arrowhead, California, where she attended the art program at Rim of The World High School and fell in love with the beauty of Nature. For the past 6 years, she has been teaching acrylic and watercolor to children and adults. In 2015 Wendy began focusing on her own work using acrylic, watercolor, and mixed media.
