Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and educated at the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband and three children. While her artistic impression was constant throughout her life, her recent foray into the art world was developed over the past 15 years working as a volunteer art teacher for school children at the elementary level. During this time she also worked as the prop, costume, and backdrop designer for the elementary school’s performances and directed the art and talent shows for many years. Now coming full circle, Ann is once again involved in instructing new and aspiring artists on her painting methods. In her commitment to being a green artist, Ann is able to create unique paintings by using recycled materials, finding items of interest in her environment, and using every drop of paint to add dimension to her paintings.

Elle Youngstrom was born in San Diego, CA. Elle is self-taught, and while she does not have any formal training, her grandfather was a great influence in her artistic career. Watercolor is her first love, but she also works with other textures and mediums. Elle utilizes her art creation as a way to express and communicate her feelings. Anything from a walk in the park to Sunday brunch with friends to trips to a local gallery brings her daily inspiration. She also finds this creative spark while traveling abroad.

Austin Beiv grew up on the tough streets of Brooklyn, where the expression of oneself was usually done through wall tagging—or as they say in Italian, "graffito." He was influenced by many different artists, particularly Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. That childhood influence is where the edge and contemporary look of his art pieces come from. After graduating from Pratt Institute in the early ’90s, he now travels all over America looking for inspiration, whether it’s a tagged wall or an art museum. Dennis Carney was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and spent his childhood surrounded by the colorful landscape of the desert. Fascinated with the beauty in the variety of nature, Carney’s desired to create. Later, his family moved to Texas, where he attended university and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Advertising Art. Carney credits his greatest influence on the natural world and the creative thinkers that surround him daily along with a diverse palette of artistic figures. He recognizes Frank Stella, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Carravaggio for their respective mediums. And he greatly admires the work of Peter Voulkos, with whom Carney studied, for his groundbreaking approach to ceramics. Carney’s delicate hand calls to mind a classic quality in life.
