Artist Jacob Lincoln was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Los Angeles is a place where all cultures and backgrounds are found. Jacob studied painting in different acrylic and oil workshops. The Art Institute is where he went to school to pursue his career in art. He enhanced his skills painterly and digitally by learning the history of all art movements. He works in all mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and also likes to experiment with ink and charcoal. With his art, he likes to explore diverse cultural perspectives on shared human experiences by connecting works of art created around the world from different eras. With his art he likes to relate and be understood and have a strong effect, to hit home.

Alexys Henry grew up in both Phoenix and New York, influenced by dramatic shifts in both cultural and physical environments. As a child, the long clear expanses of snow-covered fields broken by patches of overgrown trees and half-frozen streams captivated her and continue to influence her imagery. Henry moved to Berkeley, California in 2002. “There I found myself drawn to everyday details such as cracks in walls and layers of peeling paint and poster paper. Nature flourishes alongside urban decay. For me, this is the backdrop of a duplicitous sense of danger as well as hope and community”. From there, Henry’s brief time in Seattle deeply influenced her seascapes. Now back in phoenix with her daughter, henry aspires to be a vehicle for freedom and creativity in her work. “I love to experiment with new materials and combinations and my style carries contemporary as well as organic and urban sensibilities.”

F. Elizabeth Douglass has been painting professionally for the last sixteen years. She received her Arts Degree from Auburn University and has studied at The Scottsdale Artist School in Arizona and The University per Stranierei in Perugia, Italy. F. Elizabeth largely works with acrylic paints on a range of materials. “I prefer acrylics because it can be combined with a lot of water to achieve the movement and spontaneity that I want in all of my work.” Her subjects range from natural scenes and figures to abstracts. “I don’t want to be pigeonholed as a specific ‘kind’ of the painter. I love all aspects of art and I am continually looking for and learning new concepts, techniques, and styles.” Hailing from segregation-era Birmingham, Alabama, the civil rights movement of the ’60s formed her core belief: “… there are many beautiful colors in this world, we must appreciate them equally.” The Deep South still holds a powerful attraction for the artist, drawing her back to her roots time and again. Elizabeth counts Monet as an influence for his play of light and washes of color in addition to Watercolorist Dean Mitchell and John S. Sargent and the soft marine scapes of Homer.

Artist Mark Sargent was born in Buffalo, NY, and grew up in Egypt. He studied modern art and art history at the University of Fine Arts in Cairo, Egypt. Mark's grandfather was one of the earliest generations who founded modern Egyptian art. He remembers growing up and admiring his paintings. Marks skill set developed studying old master paintings in museums in different countries around the world. Mark finds inspiration from nature and the world around him. Such as everyday events and details that most people would miss. Marks enjoys using the oil medium for his art. In Marks's free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing billiards.

It looks like something someone printed at home and made by crafting, not at all something I would want to stare at our have on my wall, very cheap looking. 6 years ago I purchased some oil reproductions from Wayfair that were actual oil reproductions at great savings compared to other websites, unfortunately it seems they no longer get those products. Returning this asap, will gladly pay 2X the Wayfair price for this painting in actual oils, and a better hand selected frame. This print insults the original work any eyes laid upon it.. Anonymous.
