Artist Commentary: "At the Shoreline" gave me the opportunity to work with a new color palette and I enjoyed the process immensely. Painting 'local color,' or the color one actually sees, is how I started my artistic journey. Adding more pinks and purples, especially in my underpainting process, which is my road map for my final painting, resulted in a more colorful and saturated painting. I like the result and I'm certain I will continue exploring this technique in future paintings.

Really pretty. I was surprised that The frame is plastic, not glass. The back is made of paper and the paper arrived torn, but I don’t really think that matters since no one sees the back anyway.
