Ann was born in Enid, Oklahoma, and educated at the University of Oklahoma, with a degree in Interior Design. She moved to San Diego in 1984, where she lives today with her husband and three children. While her artistic impression was constant throughout her life, her recent foray into the art world was developed over the past 15 years working as a volunteer art teacher for school children at the elementary level. During this time she also worked as the prop, costume, and backdrop designer for the elementary school’s performances and directed the art and talent shows for many years. Now coming full circle, Ann is once again involved in instructing new and aspiring artists on her painting methods. In her commitment to being a green artist, Ann is able to create unique paintings by using recycled materials, finding items of interest in her environment, and using every drop of paint to add dimension to her paintings.

Elena Carlie was born in Romania; a country known for its rich cultural heritage and great natural beauty. At the age of 22, she moved to the United States where she expanded her horizons and grew as an artist. She has studied Fine arts since she was a child and currently holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of NH. “Art defines our humanity, freedom, and individuality. It is a way to articulate abstract thought and separates us from other life forms. Art is incredibly therapeutic for me, and foremost a strong passion. It’s not something I think about, but rather, something I feel.” Carlie finds inspiration everywhere. She strives to discover new ways of interpretation and sees this as a formula to remain fresh. Austin Beiv grew up on the tough streets of Brooklyn, where self-expression was usually done through wall tagging, or as they say in Italian, "graffito." He was heavily influenced by contemporary artists like Fernando Carlo, who was well known for his expressive graffiti. Fern Cassidy was born in Oakland, CA, but grew up in Colorado. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, food, and painting. Fern studied drawing and painting at CSU Long Beach where she trained under influential professors, but most of her experience comes from her personal practice. She works in all mediums, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, and gouache, but also likes to experiment with textiles and fiber arts. Guseul Park was born and raised in Korea and studied ceramics in college; however, she was always drawn to painting and drawing, and she is a self-taught artist. “Art means meditation to me. This painting is spectacular! I'm so happy with it. It's the perfect mix of grays and blues that I was looking for. I was very hesitant to buy artwork without actually seeing it, but I can say that the delivered product looks exactly as the image on the Perigold site. I also opted for having it delivered inside my house versus left on the step. The delivery people carefully handled the painting and were very professional. There wasn't a mark or ding on the box.
